In theory, whatever happens with the LLC shouldn't affect you personally and vice versa. level 1 Best way to piss off your CPA is to give bank statements for bookkeeping with commingled assets. What a nightmare... please don't. level 2 I mean let's not get carried away it does depend on the size of his business.
Okay so, I'm looking for a US business bank account, but because of the pandemic, I would really prefer that I be able to set up the account either over the phone or online. If that's not possible then it's going to wait until after I get my second vaccine dose because I'm not going to risk dying and I can use a combination of PayPal and my personal bank account for now. I could in theory use PayPal exclusively, but the fees are expensive. I am currently using my personal account because Huntington closed my business account after I over drafted it. So, I won't be going back there and I realized after the fact that there was an onslaught of fees that I should have probably gotten some advice before I opened that account. I just had a standard checking account with a debit card, nothing fancy at all. The number of transactions isn't very high, like 30 max transactions a month, but the volume can be relatively high, easily $5k+/day, which I know can be a problem for some banks and I am aware that I might need multiple accounts.
level 1 You have no other option. This is no longer your sole proprietor type book keeping. Keeping your bank statements clean is key to your success. Good luck level 1 Bmo has a no fee electronic account and RBC has a 5. 00 one.

Hi guys, after spending nearly an hour on hold in a vain attempt to get my debit card pin mailed to me, I'm in search of a new bank account. Currently with Bank of America, but looking for a bank where they actually pick up the phone, and the most minor of needs isn't like pulling teeth. For reference, all my personal accounts are with Ally, and I find them to be exceptional(! ) Indeed, if Ally just did business accounts, I wouldn't be asking this question. Anyways, anyone care to give a shoutout for a small business bank they actually like?

Hey, so I recently created a limited company and I need a buisness bank account asap to start trading. I got denied when I applied for an account with Starling, not sure why. Does anyone know any other business bank accounts which are relatively quick and easy to open? Thanks
level 1 I was previously with Metro Bank and had no issues level 1 Starling was going to be my suggestion - they were pretty quick with me. I also have an account with Mettle, although the setup with them was quite slow and painful. Have you tried Tide? level 2 I was thinking of trying tide but they don't offer multi user access to accounts which is something I'd ideally like as me and my partner are both directors of the ltd company:( level 1 I was waiting for 6 months on HSBC. Finally cancelled the application and was approved by Starling in 2 days. Why did they deny you? level 2 They won't tell you why which is annoying level 1 It's quickest to open a business bank with a bank with which you already hold any account.
