ADL Exploits Wikipedia to Promote Group and Attack Conservatives Numerous Wikipedia users working for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) have been persistently adding references to the group in various articles. The scheme included attempting to mention ADL claims about antisemitism in the article about the reddit-driven stock market boom in video game retailer GameStop. The ADL editing campaign is another example of rampant efforts by paid editors and those with conflicts of interest to exploit the site's open editing model. For cleantech and renewable energy advocates, the steady rise of community solar is the feel-good story of the last couple of years. Over the last 24 months, the sector has grown at an annual rate of 112 percent; there are currently 734 megawatts of community solar capacity installed in the U. S., and more than half of that was installed in 2017. Despite this momentum, community solar has yet to reach a clear breakout point — and applying old marketing and sales strategies to the acquisition of community solar subscribers is a big reason why. Community solar marketing: A customer case study
My interest in this topic is both personal and professional. As a marketing professional working in cleantech sectors, part of my job is knowing and understanding the latest industry trends. Personally, I'm a staunch advocate of renewable energy and a climate hawk, so I want to see community solar grow and thrive for ideological reasons. I live in New York state, which is one of the hottest community solar markets in the country, thanks in large part to strong policy support like the Reforming the Energy Vision initiative, which includes a 50 percent renewable statewide generation target by 2030, and the $1 billion NY-Sun program, a public-private partnership that expands access to solar through incentives and resources.

by Martin Brinkmann on August 22, 2020 in Firefox, Internet - Last Update: August 22, 2020 - 23 comments Mozilla revealed Firefox Private Relay, an experimental service to protect email addresses through the creation of aliases, in May 2020. The service was invite-only at the time but it is now available to anyone who wants to give it a try. Now called Firefox Relay, it is available globally. A Firefox Account is required to sign-up for Firefox Relay and Firefox users may install the companion extension to better integrate the service into the browser and improve the generation of aliases, e. g. when signing up for a new service. The main idea behind the service is simple: instead of using your own email address on the Internet, e. to sign-up for services, leave a comment on a site, or online shopping, you use an alias provided by Firefox Relay. Email addresses that you reveal on the Internet may be sold, shared, or leaked, and this results in spam, phishing emails, and other unwanted emails being sent to the email addresses in question usually.
They also provide a strong incentive for attorneys to obtain maximum benefits for their clients. State laws or regulations tightly control attorneys' fees in workers' comp cases. Many states place some sort of cap on the amount an attorney can charge and require approval of the fees by the workers' comp judge or appeals board. State Rules on Workers' Comp Attorneys' Fees
The laws and regulations dealing with attorneys' fees vary from state to state. Generally, the judge must approve the fee before the lawyer gets paid, taking into account how complicated the case was, the time and work involved, the amount of benefits awarded, and the final result. Many states set a cap on the percentage and/or total amounts that attorneys can charge. Typically, the maximum percentages range from about 10 to 20%, depending on the complexity of the case. But some states have higher limits or none at all. In general, a case that is settled prior to an administrative hearing will warrant a lower percentage fee than one that requires a hearing or even a trial in circuit court.
