Georgia said she had been "fighting with Carrot back and forth to try and make sure they didn't cancel my policy"
Young people are being threatened with having their car insurance cancelled due to faults with an app that aims to make policies more affordable, the BBC has been told. Carrot Insurance uses phone data to measure journey length, acceleration and braking - but some say it often fails to work or wrongly records data. Tory MP Craig Tracey questioned whether it was "fit for purpose". Carrot said it was "extremely sorry" some had had a "poor experience". It told the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme "for the vast majority" of young people, the app helps to reduce their premiums and to improve their driving safety. 'Rewards good driving'
Carrot Insurance describes its Better Driver app as "a clever bit of technology which uses 'telematics' to measure acceleration, braking, swerving, and the number and length of journeys that you make". Users can then be rewarded for good driving.

Disconnect your panel. You'll get to know your panel, battery, and loads, and maybe you'll disconnect at a lower voltage, like 13. 5 volts. This method works fine when camping and you can lay around watching to see how your battery is doing, or if your panels can't keep up with demand so you don't have to worry about overcharging. Step 2: Overvoltage Disconnect They call this item a "7 amp charge controller" at [ Camping World] and charge $25 or so for it. All it does is disconnect the panel from the battery when battery voltage goes over 14 volts. Home Power Magazine Has published schematics for circuits that do the same thing. You can still overcharge a battery through one of these units if your panel is big and your battery is small. The bubbling sound you hear in your overcharging battery is water (H2O) being broken down into hydrogen and Oxygen, which then bubble out to join the atmosphere. Eventually the battery will run out of water. Eventually the exposed parts of the battery's lead plates will oxidize and the battery won't take a charge, even if you add distilled water to it.

What does drone repair cost? Depending on the extent of damage done, drone repair costs about $65 for each hour of repair. The overall cost is dependent on the type of drone, location, and extent of the damage. It's in your best interest to follow the laid down guideline for warranty and buy a protection plan if there is one available for you to buy. Make sure you practice good maintenance and inspection routines. Final thoughts
One thing that will save you money and energy is to ensure that you need to invest in keeping your drone in good shape. This can be achieved by carrying out pre and post-flight inspections to make sure that your drone is properly monitored. Also, make sure you are well versed with the drone to be able to identify certain changes in the drone.
It's springtime in Atlanta, and you know what that means! Pretty soon, you'll be setting your thermostat to "Cool, Auto" and dialing in a temperature between 70 and 78 degrees. But is your air conditioner ready to take on the sweltering summer months? If you don't have it inspected each spring, it's a roll of the dice. Even if your AC manages to operate all summer long without having an inspection, it might not be running at peak efficiency. And you might have some festering problems that lead to costly repairs in the future. New compressor, anyone? Bearing all of that in mind, there's a right way and a wrong way to perform an air conditioner inspection. Actually, there are several wrong ways. Many HVAC contractors simply don't do a lot of the things they ought to do during an inspection. Cleaning your coil, checking compressor amp draw, flushing the drain line… These are "must do" AC maintenance tasks that need to happen once a year. At PV, we do all of those things during our AC inspections.

Altran has provided us with more information on how its AI defect finder works. The company told us that the AI does not look much at the source code itself, but rather at the commit metadata, "the number of files in the check-in, code complexity, density of the check-in, bug history of the file, history of the developer, experience of the developer in the particular module/file etc. " Training of the model is done only on the project being examined; the reference to open source projects is only because "the published solution is for a GitHub project, " the company said. It has an example for us. "One of the projects where we used this solution started flagging a larger number of code commits as carrying a higher risk on Tuesdays. We initially doubted the ML model. However, we then discovered that the development team had a practice of doing weekly builds on Tuesdays. Developers were able to commit the code that was not fully tested before the weekly build, " we were told.
